Reality這首歌是1980年法國電影“La Boum”(“第一次接觸”)的主題曲。
這部電影是法國玉女明星蘇菲瑪索在十四歲時主演的處女作，
上映後所向披靡，使她成為八十年代最走紅的少女偶像明星之一。
而Richard Sanderson演唱的這首主題曲也創下了輝煌的成績：

My girl原唱是The Temptations（誘惑合唱團）
這首歌1965年就發行 之後非常多的西洋藝人甚至台灣藝人都有翻唱過
除了好萊塢重案組, 這首歌在1991年因為小鬼初戀而大受歡迎
在1965年發行後的26年再度走紅，
連My sassy girl(我的野蠻女友）2002
也有用這首歌當配樂

四、五年級的同學也許記得《再見女郎》這部電影(《The Goodbye Girl》，1977)。
改編自美國劇作家尼爾賽門的舞台劇，描述窮困潦倒的紐約演員Richard Dreyfuss
(因本片拿下奧斯卡最佳男主角，最新作品是正在上映的《海神號》)，
陰錯陽差地和單親媽媽Marsha Mason住在同一屋簷下。
Marsha Mason因為常被男人拋棄，所以自嘲是「再見女郎」。
兩人的個性南轅北轍、一開始衝突不斷，但最後卻陷入情網。
正當他們的真愛萌芽時，Richard Dreyfuss必須離開紐約去參加電影演出。
分開那個雨夜，女主角覺得自己再一次變成「再見女郎」。
男主角卻站在大雨的街頭，跟她宣誓他回來的決心。
此時，片尾的主題曲放出：
