當悠揚的Saxophone前奏緩緩響起，我的思緒隨著音符，穿越時空回到了80年代，
腦中慢慢浮現的，是那個女孩清麗的容顏.................
The One You Love 這首歌，以一個男人對他所愛的女孩娓娓獨白的方式，訴說自己
愛上一個，在愛與被愛之間掙扎的女孩，卻只能期待女孩在愛自己的人和自己愛的人之
間做出選擇，迷惘、憂傷的複雜心情，雖然無助卻只能等待。
雖然在美國Billboard告示牌排行榜最高只到Top 15，但這首歌在台灣卻是大大流行，
當時幾乎是大學舞會場場必播的經典名曲。當幾首快節奏舞曲結束，燈光轉暗，緊接著
Saxophone的前奏一起，幾乎無一倖免的，女孩會被氣氛所感動，而把頭枕在男孩肩膀
或胸膛上，成就了不少佳偶(或怨偶)，因而被戲稱為把妹聖曲。
Glenn Frey 是著名的Eagels 老鷹合唱團中的靈魂人物之一，The One You Love 則
是1982年他在Eagles 解散後，單飛的首張個人專輯No Fun Aloud 中的一首暢銷曲。
